Cowboy Comes to Town
Aquarius Sun and Libra Moon
The moon wanes for this Aquarius, which deepens their aloofness and widens their perspective to a panorama. Libra is an air sign just as Aquarius is so we have a combination of double air—inscrutable to say the least. This person is extremely well-liked, and is so well-grooved in social situations that he or she seems born to their moments in time and space, pivotal to events, always integrated somehow, even absolutely essential to bringing people together. But it is a strange kind of integration for double air. There is wisdom behind their keen, understanding eyes that is in no hurry or under no obligation to express itself clearly to you. The person enjoys being analogous to Pandora’s box. Really, they are so much part of an atmosphere, a place, a role, it seems that the full meaning of what that role signifies to a place in time is exemplified through them. Their lives become symbols—emblematic. Happens sometimes when Air is paramount that messages get conveyed to others that the person has no control over. When he or she does speak, it is poignant, you can believe that, and kind, but never nonsensical or ridiculous. Leave that to the Geminis. As for Libra, that sign is too suave , and Aquarius too unbelievably quick. But Air signs do love a good laugh and a satire, and this person smiles with all his or her teeth. The Aquarian ethos is much more serious and untouchable than the other signs, for the person is communicating on other planes of existence, and nonverbally or symbolically much of the time. Emotionally he or she certainly can be hard to connect to, but feels most loved when sharing silence with a person, each in his or her own thoughts. Libra, especially in the position of the Moon, is drawn to be a shoulder others can lean on. They are incredible listeners, too; always listening, always taking in, being transported. They might never be too vocal about their own needs, for it seems to them that needs are just a personal matter and personal matters get profaned with too much talking. At the same time, the person has great moods of talking and can tell a tale and hold an audience, and is an incredible deliberator, as Libra-Moons tend to be, but they’ll leave much unsaid, because what is most interesting to them is written between the lines. And these things that they do not speak about seem to cling to them, in the way this person crosses his or her legs or stands very tall. They represent a living idea, and at the same time all that is unknowable about the future lays relaxedly about their shoulders. For their own selves, there is usually a strongly altruistic bent to everything that the Aquarius-Libra decides to do. They won’t seek much attention for their deeds, but they generally work tirelessly for others, or with others. They’re not much interested in doing things just for themselves. The combination of the sign which believes in the future (Aquarius) and the sign of social cohesion and tact (Libra) creates an individual that literally holds communities together. You can know this one your whole life and they can still be a mystery. With the Moon waning, the person has much to think about, and takes his or her time before speaking. An interesting person, to be so naturally solitary yet so obviously invested in other people. You can tell they have very lively inner worlds, the conditions of which they would share, if they could find the right words. This person runs on his or her own time frame, too, but always manages to smooth everything over with everybody. There can even be a love of defying physics, of not really believing in death. Curse of the double-air signs. This is the combination of my enigmatic grandfather who used to ride his motorcycle along the Californian hills, who was known by his first name by everybody in town.
