The Moss Between the Cracks

Libra Sun and Pisces Moon

It’s been my privilege to know multiple women of this combination and they are all exceptional. Each one of them subtly genius, an effortlessness, belying actions that are on the whole heartfelt, innocent, and conscientious. This combination is one of grace and deep feeling but also a strange sacred dance of laughing at one’s self and life’s trials, the disappointing experiences, and pitfalls, and learning the art of patience. This is a person of regenerative youthfulness, blessed by both Venus and Neptune, the planets which rule as beneficiaries over the arts. These women fall in love deeply and are extremely loyal. They’re not the types to spread themselves too thin, and brutal, casual ways of connecting, which might suit those who are less sensitive than they or who are more prone to strum the aching chords of their pain, never really come about for them. It’s not that they don’t experience painful experiences, but they lack the power to obsessively dwell. They’re very stimulated by the present time—the Pisces Moon makes it so, for this is the Moon of total immersion in the currents of the moment, of blending into atmosphere, of becoming lost when it’s available to be lost, and laughing at being found again, home in one’s body. There’s a flow in and out of consciousness that’s spiritual, for them. The Libra Sun is extremely alert to anyone coming into their sphere and they have a tendency to chameleon themselves, or play roles, depending upon who they are entertaining or longing for. Of course there’s a gullibility and a certain denseness, but the person passes it off with humbleness. They love learning about themselves for their self-knowing comes in stages and epiphanies that others draw out for them. It is by relationship, or contrast, they come into their highest selves, or more embodied selves. There’s a conscientiousness to Libra as well which is aware that the dance of two people requires a playing field of respect. There’s usually always someone in love with them. A Neptunian moon belies a strong and ungraspeable imagination which transcends preconceived notion. This person loves doing things off the cuff, and detects so much in each living second that they hardly ever experience boredom. Even with inanimate objects there is life that this person can sense. They are very body-sensitive, and their creative acts reflect this. The Libra Sun can act almost as a shield for plastic, material life, though they toe the balance between worlds, living as something of a gate keeper. They are usually bold and protective in their style of dress, and expressions, but can easily be undone, or accessed, through their own longing for other people. There’s a strong and pulsing inner world that is radically altered by the entrance of someone else. In a way, they discover chambers in their own minds they did not know about until the grace of experience, which they take on poetically. Air and water together is always intensely poetic, for there is a penchant to give shape to the ephemeral. They must speak their heart out through some medium or other. The Moon is coming down to a waning three quarters and becomes expert at taking things apart, or people, situations, and piecing them back together. They’ve been gifted with the laser-glance which sees beneath, but must be careful that their consciousnesses, which is essentially a destructive-creative force, does not hinder something that is just at a lull. They can mistake lull to mean over, but they are learning the art of patience. Sometimes, too, they’re mistaken in their reading of people; they have a tumult of sensations to pick through and it can be hard to differentiate projections from reality. Not everyone possesses their buoyancy. The Libra-Pisces is learning to sift through their many sands of senses while applying the art of the boundary so that they might participate more wisely in the relationships that fill them with love.
